As some of you know I've been working on getting all my stuff together for going full-time in June. Here is a picture of my truck and trailer. I just got it back from being painted and logo added. I'm still working on the inside. Thanks!

Your looking might mean from the outside, if I can ask what was the cost for the trailer and associated gear for the start-up...its always something that I want to do but to scarred to take the jump from part timer to full.

The last one I knew...LOL

Do you have a customer base already?

What business plan do you have in place so that you can project your income?

These are the things that I think of most.

At 52 I have a family security to think of, not to mention an area that gets quite a bit of rain.

As a weekend guy I make a good go of it in the summer months but couldn't see making enough to pay the current overhead and save for the winter months

What company did you go with for your used enclosed trailer? I'm in Birmingham, AL. and have been looking into going full time myself. I get tired of loading and unloading my equipment.

Thanks

I'm not really sure what company it is. I'll try to find out. I know Pace is good and Cargo south too.

I plan on doing a very large post w/ pics later once I'm done, but I was eager to show my new toy.

Forgot to give a little advice.....
Buy some mud flaps for your truck!!!!!!!!!!!
My trailer is getting rock chips galore. I will be buying mudflaps for mine soon. I see you have the diamond plate fenders and across the front. Wish mine did. In the near future, I will be adding spray on bed liner on the front of the trailer, the bottom half. As well as the front of the fenders.....

Your setup looks pretty good to me. I'd like to do that in the future, but it's probably going to be a long while before I do.

Your truck & trailer combination looks real good.
You should be able to pick up some business with a set up like that.
