Trim product that restores and lasts?

what about under the windows on the little black trim rubber part.....a car of mine has that part all water spotted and I tried a few coats of mother back to black on it and it didnt quite remove/cover them up....

What kind of car?

My car had that problem. I had to tape the area off and sand it, then re-dye the trim. Since then, I just touch up with Poorboy's Trim Restorer.

Hi-Temp's Molding and Bumper Renewer works very well. It is a thick petro based product that really transforms the appearance of faded trim. I applied some last week to the trim on my 16 year old car, and it made the trim look like new. As for the durability, it has been through a snow storm, and then my wash today. I sprayed all the trim with APC, powerwashed and then washed with car wash soap; rinsing again with the PW. The trim still looks nice and black, but not as glossy.

My Mazda has the pickiest window trim I've ever dealt with. I had good results with using Trim Restorer with a MF applicator (right when I got the car), and making certain to buff it off extremely well. Now I frequently use S&G on it, which is the only product I've found to not streak on it.

I like PB Trim Restorer. I used a soft tooth brush with the Trim Restorer and it took off the wax. Once finished I buffed with micro fiber towel. I had to use a QD on the paint for to remove the small amount of Trim Restorer that I ended up getting on the paint.

mt neighbours micra had stains on the bumpers that I could hide but would return within a few minutes. In the end I used megs endurance tyre cleaner - and it worked a treat! 3 weeks later after loads of rain its still as good as when first done! Have also done the bumper on my daughters Rover 100 which is a huge expanse of grey plastic, that too has lasted well.

BTW Megs gold class is complete rubbish, the first bit of water and it streaks like hell, I am about to throw 2 bottles of it away! #38 in contrast seems very good.

do the pb trim restorer or the natural look leave a greasy feel to it? i used to use the meguiars vinyl shine spray, and that thing leaves a horrible greasy feel to it. i stopped using it because of that.
