Trigger spray vs. aerosol glass cleaner

I have a feeling there is a noticeable difference in performance between trigger-spray glass cleaners and their aerosol counterparts, and just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I recently bought Stoner's trigger-spray, figured why not save the environment, but it kinda sucks. It leaves a slight haze and I have to scrub more to remove contaminants from the glass. I don't have any Stoner's aerosol to directly compare it to, but a competitors aerosol (Professional's Choice from Advance Auto Parts) kicks its *** in a direct comparison.

My thought is that they have to put less volatile chemicals in the trigger-spray since they will evaporate, but the sealed aerosol gets all the good stuff.

Thats the reason I stopped using the pump spray and bought the aresol. It did the exact same thing to me.

sprayway in a can is the best glass product I have ever used, and while at target with my wife I saw it for 1.99, 26 cents less than my wholesaler

I use the Stoners trigger but at the suggestion of another detailer I changed my method.

I don't spray the glass any more what I do id I wet a low nap MF with water and wring it out best I can. Then I mist both sides with the Stoners. I wipe the window down with it then immediatly polish it clean with a 16 x 24 waffle weave.

Since doing it this way I have reduced the cleaner used by about 90% and get streak free clean windows.

The most of the wiping is with the WW to dry/polish the window.

At last year's SEMA show the Stoner's reps claimed it was the exact same product and strengths. It was purely a market based move since many consumers wanted to see the liquid through the plastic container.

I got the Stoners trigger spray and I still can't see through the dark green bottle good enough to tell how much is left, I do feel that the spray can works better - hits the glass with a foam, instead of a drizzle.
