Tried out some ONR (pics)

I have a sample that was sent to me when it first came out but it turned brown. I am afraid to use it on account of this. Does this still happen or have they changed the formula?
 
Since finding this site I've spent over $800 on a PC and detailing products. ONR is the best value so far, I'm washing my car in the garage every night! A couple of buckets, ONR and I have great looking car in 30 minutes! Then I top it with another of my new favorites, Pinnacle Crystal Mist for a great wet look. Winter...bring it on!
 
I am interested in using ONR, but what is the best way to clean the wells and wheels? Does everyone still use ONR to do this or does everyone use other products for these areas? TIA
 
I do the wheels with ONR and a grout sponge. You could spray the wheel wells and use a brush to clean them.

Now and then I'd still use conventional methods to clean the wheelwells; a strong stream of water will better dislodge the sort of stuff that can build up in there.



I've been using ONR for between-washes wheel cleanup, using BHBs for the initial passes (and to get into the tigth spots) and a grout sponge for a follow-up.

It will work fine. I used a full gallon that had changed color and I noticed no difference in performance. The new version is a brighter blue and has a Pine-Sol/citrus scent.

ONR works great, no doubt about that. Only thing I would which for is that the dirt would come off the mitt or MF when washing. Conventional shampoos does this pretty well, all the dirt comes off with the water, but with ONR alot sticks to the mitt/MF. Haven't tried a grout sponge yet.

Grout sponge does the same thing. I first tried the grout sponge when I started using ONR last winter, and it darkened with each use. The first time I used it with a hose & foamgun wash the sponge came clean again.



I use a separate sponge for wheels, jambs, & rocker panels; it's almost completely black.
 
I got my first bottle of ONR in September. I have only used it a few times and it works great even using the single bucket method. I am a newbie to detailing too for the most part! We'll see what happens with the two bucket method and winter washes.... today we got about a 6" dropping of snow, so the "winter washes" officially begin!

Once I see that, then i will be a believer. I don't want to see a pre soak or anything. I was the review used STRICTLY as the direction state. :nana:

So when the shampoo bottle says rinse, then repeat, do you repeat?



Don't just nay-say about the directions. With a presoak ONR is great, i just use a pump sprayer and it takes 20 seconds. If you run around your whole life reading directions you would be doing some pretty silly things.
