Tried a new glass cleaner

I have never used any but have heard good things. I personally use Zep professional (green color) 1 gallon will make 32 gallons of cleaner and for under $10 can not be beat.

Well don't try Rain-X's new stuff. It streaks like a xxxxx no matter what you do. I've tried other cleaners but Stoner's has worked great for me. I saturate it more on bugs on the windshield and it takes them almost completely off; just a little elbow grease finishes them off.

I wonder, since Stoner's is good with the bugs on the windshield, if it would do any harm on painted surfaces on the grille? I'll have to try this as it is lovebug season here in Florida.

Old-fashioned Windex is my current preferred bug removers (I say current because I am always experimenting). It's cheap and you can really slather it on the front end. It is at least as effective as Stoner's Tarminator & Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover - without the greasy residue which can foul your wash water. I suspect it does remove some protection, but most bug removers do.

Anyway, back to your point, for that reason, I would suspect the Stoner's IG would work well as a debugger.

Already forgot about this idea. I'll have to try it out today. I also got a suggestion from a client saying to try ammonia with lemon as a bug remover. Now I'm sure this will remove all protection but if I'm waxing anyways I don't see the issue. Anybody use ammonia in the past or have opinions about it?
