Trashed Corvette brought back by Immaculate Reflections

This client came to me looking to bring the "newness" back to his 05 Corvette vert. Over the phone he mentioned it had never been detailed before but he realized it would cost a bit to bring it back and he was fine with that. This was only a 2 step correction, but there was so much wrong on this car that it took nearly 20 hours to bring it back.

I have to apologize for the pictures, my battery on the DSLR completely died and wouldn't charge. I always keep my old point and shoot Nikon just in case, and it came in handy. So the quality isn't quite as good, but it still tells the story well.

Here's what I started with... :scared:

Unknown stains on the paint

License plate removed, probably the first time since it was new

Severely neglected exhaust tips

There were parts like this all over the car. Ancient wax never fully removed. It was basically like concrete now. It took multiple compounding passes with M105 to remove.

So many others miss this spot... gap between door and front fender. Try to use a MF to get this and the shape of the door will just feed it into the fender and not clean anything, so you gotta bust out the q-tips for this one.

Corrected and shiny again

All finished, sealed with 2 coats of Zaino Z5pro, wheels/exhaust sealed with ZAIO, top treated with RaggTopp. Interior was bad too, but was under too much of a time crunch for pics. Again pics would have been better if my DSLR battery hadn't died...oh well
