PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
First i will state i am one who never got on the cell phone craze. Period. We still have and believe in a home phone. I was doing a cell from her brother for $15/month. Cheap enough. I only carry it for piece of mind. Well after not really using it for months (other than the camera) i figured there has to be even a cheaper way. I picked up a TRACFONE for $4.97 yesterday and loaded it with 30min. GOOD ENOUGH. He his getting paid up today, and his phone back. This way i only use what i need.

I don't have a tracfone and have never had one. But I know with the older pre paid phones like this the minutes you buy don't last forever. If you don't use them you will eventually lose them if your not using the phone at all. Just something to look into possibly?

I'm with you PA Detailer, I'm not a cell guy myself. I still have a Samsung Galaxy S (1), the original - not the 5 or 4 or 3 or even 2. It makes calls and text messages which is what I do 99.99% of the time. I used to have Boost and was very happy with their service.

It is kind of pay as you go, which is good for me. I opened it with a 60 min card that they doubled to 120 min. Service till 2/17/15. You can buy value monthly plans for $10/month for 50min. No contract.

Check online for free minute codes. There are websites that offer free coupon codes to redeem free minutes. I'll find out from a friend so I can give you a link.

I am wondering if those phones are different by state? I mean the plans. I am the same way with the cell phone. I can't see paying another phone bill for a cell at around $50 a month here when the only thing I use the home phone for is internet and rarely place any calls. I looked into have a phone for the car with those prepaid minutes at Walmart but every card I looked at had a 30 day expiration to 90 day expiration. So I just can't justify spending minutes and losing them that fast when I would be lucky to a 90 minute plan all year. Maybe I need to look into it again. Glad you found a good deal.

What will happen to you if Apple finds out you are telling people they don't need a new 100$ a month phone every 6 months.
