Tr3 resin glaze ?

I haven't used that in, well, decades.

It is quite effective on oxidation and scratches. I was able to remove a scratch that went down to bare metal with TR-3.

What I meant is that the TR-3 softened the paint somehow and I was able to work it into the scratch. You couldn't tell that there was ever a scratch there. This was with single-stage paint, of course.

Used it back in the early 80's, nice stuff. You can basically leave it on for a long time, comes off like dust.

If I recall, didnt you have to keep the car dry for 24 hours to cure this sealant. Man that name takes me waaay Back ! Today, I saw it on the shelf, I must have just spaced it out before..... Tell you something?

I still have a bottle and it worked well on my SS Mitsubishi paint. I do not think that my bottle is recommended for clear coats (I think they have a dedicated CC safe version of it). It is rather abrasive and definitely cleans/polishes the paint. I remember applying this by hand and having several completely paint stained pads. It left a nice, durable shine. I do not know if it is still available OTC.
