Towels On Sale - Half Price!

So, I'm starting an account tomorrow washing cars for a local office complex. I went out and bought 12 of the VROOM large microfiber drying towels and found them to be great. At the time, they cost $8 each, but I just went into my local Target and they had them on sale 2 for $8. It figures that a week after I go spend about $100 on towels that they would put them up at half-price.:angry

Anyway, the anger over the new half-price sale didn't prevent me from buying another 8 to give me 20 total.

Just a heads up if anyone else may need some towels. I find them to be great, better than anything else I've ever used, but then again, I haven't exactly tried a lot. They did come recommended on here though, so hopefully they last. Some people have said that they weren't sure about the durability, but at this price, they should work out well.

Hope this helps someone else!

If these are the large yellow dual nap, plush VROOMs with gray edging, I can say that they are durable and work great. I bought them at the 2 4 8 deal a year ago (4 total) and they are just as soft and absorbent as they were when new.

For $4 each their hard to beat.

Yep, that's them. Hopefully I have plenty now, and like you say, that they will hold up well.

My local Target ran the same sale! Needless to say, I picked up the last three on the shelf!

Can't walk away from a great deal :(

If you just got the full price ones a week ago and you still have the receipt take it in to the customer service desk. They should honor the sale price and give you half your money back.

Target isn't known for its return policy like other retailers, but I believe you're still entitled to a pricematch, especially if those are their own prices from the previous week. It doesn't hurt to ask, especially when you can save yourself $50.

I'm going to see what I can do on getting some of my money back for the ones I bought before they decided to go for half price, since it was just a week ago. Can't hurt to try, and Target is right up by my house, so it isn't out of my way at all.

Just buy more and return them with your old receipt. That's what I did the last time they were on sale.

Never thought of that. That's genious, pure genius. Thanks!

Picked up two this evening... They had three left so I may get "lost" tomorrow while i'm out and somehow end up at Target. Maybe they'll have the blue ones...

I needed new interior ones so i picked up the 8 pack and 12 pack.

My target messed up on the pricing and put them all at 4 dollars. Which is funny. This could aslo explain why they had close to none left.. I should have picked up more but my bins are already overflowing with Sonus towels and the vroom drying towels, so it would be completely unnecessary.
