Topping Solution Finish

I had the chance to do my first trim restoration project using Solution Finish. All of the plastic trim was extremely faded and "chalked". I was extremely impressed with the initial results. The SF turned all of the trim a deep rich black. The trim looked almost brand new. My only concern now is with durability. I have heard some comment that the SF is just not that really durable. My question is; Has anyone tried topping SF with a wax of some sort like OCW or used something like Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant to "lock" in the SF ?

I know that they ahve been working on a "Sealer" product to help seal in the restoration. But I don't think it has been released yet.

I have used something like UTTG over SF to help seal it and and it seems to work better. But you still need to keep up on your application.

But my ultimate to this point has been to let SF cure for a few day or even a week ni the hot sun then come back and coat the trim with CarPro Dlux. This keep the dark color while truly sealing it in long term.

CarPro DLUX would be my first choice. Or regular applications of another trim sealant like WG Exterior Trim Sealant.

Timely thread!! I need to pick up some DLUX to seal in the round of SF I just did to my Honda's grill:

Edit: Oh never mind - DLUX is $40. Anyone got any for trade?
