Topping Platium UPP???

Has anyone tried topping UPP with a carnauba. I am bored ( all stored and driven vehicles ultra detailed). I am contemplating topping with one of my carnuabas ( Souveran, P21S, Natty's or Meg#26. The UPP ( x3) has cured 2 weeks. Please post your results. TIA :bow

Also tried it....topped 3 layers of UPP with some Colinite last fall, on a 1997 GMC Sonoma (which I have some killer pics of, I will post later....) red in color. Didn't see much difference with the topper.

To be honest,UPP is so slick that I hate to ruin the finish by putting wax over it. Also using the Gloss Enhancer on the UPP after washing looks great.

I feel the same way. Just bored:(

Maybe I'll just add another layer. ;)

Thanks guys

blkZ28Conv,

I have used both P21S and Pinnacle Signature Series as a topper for PUPP on titanium metallic. To me, the wax topper added another 'notch' of depth to the paint. I guess that I'm a sucker for the last portion of shine/depth that a good wax can offer on top of a sealant.

Cheers,

Amp01. I too topped my metallic silver with Poorboy's EX ( similiar in appearance to UPP) with Meg #26. This did add depth and wetness. :xyxthumbs

Souveran and P21S are so nice to work with. :bow

Maybe I will try some on one panel and compare.

Same here.

~One man’s opinion~

Apply paste Carnauba wax to the synthetic wax base, allow to cross-link for 2-4 hours, and then apply liquid Carnauba wax to produce a deep ‘wet-look’ shine.

Experience unshared; is knowledge wasted…/

justadumbarchitect * so i question everything*

When I get to this point I end up doing friend's cars.

Last year I had 5 layers of SG on my car and topped with #26 and it didn't make a difference other than no longer making the car slick. I was disappointed and vowed to no longer just top my car with stuff because I am bored.

P.S. I can't wait to get my bottle of UPP!
