topping nxt2.0 w/ #845?

NXT is a sealant. Sealant blends in with the paint. Wax just sits on top and does not need to be cure before removal. So yes, it's ok, IMO.

Wait so your saying wax doesn't need to cure? So all waxes are WOWO??? Or am I not getting something here?

Not all waxes are WOWO. There are quite a few that do need time to haze and stuff.

OP, I believe that the heavy solvent content of 845 would probably have some effect on the NXT. Whether it removes it or not is beyond me because I've never mixed the two before...

Depends on which wax you are using. Just follow the instruction on the back. :xyxthumbs

I have put 845 over all kinds of stuff. It seems to hold up well for at least a few months. I don't think I have let it go more than 3 months during the summer.

For the winter I usually strip what ever has built up over the summer, then KAIO and 845. That makes 5-6 months If I don't do many touchless washes. It seems almost best to leave the DD's dirty than to wash them and have to fix lots of swirls.

IME NXT lasts about a couple days, not even worth it if it were given away free. It does smell nice though, i suppose you could use it for fragrance inside your car.

NXT does not last for a couple of days. Can you elaborate more on that?

Sure; I've tried it several times, and a few days later the car felt like it had nothing on it at all, no slickness, nothing. It's the only Megs product that I can say it junk.

NXT is a sealant. The longer you wait (I wait for 1hour) to let it cure, the better. After 1 hour, I remove it. Then the next day you wake up. It should be very slick because it finished curing (as in the sealant has already settled and bonded to the paint.) And it should be garage so the humidity/cold doesn't affect the product. :D You should use the QUD to maintain it. :)
