Topping IW845 with M26?

Love the IW protection but want a bit more depth. Applied IW about 3 weeks ago, would there be any harm in adding some M26? I want the protection of IW, but the end look of M26. Thanks!

Go ahead! The durable base is already established, so you can darken it a bit and make wetter, deeper with the #26. I'd use the paste though. And a good anti-static QD (FK425) after that.

Agree with Bence except that I'd use a different QD (namely Griot's SpeedShine) as FK425 gives a bit of a "sealant look effect" and I've had it cause some issues with carnaubas a few times.

I've actually thought about doing this very same thing. I have a charcoal gray 4runner that I keep 845 on, but was wondering how it woud look topped with m26. Let us know how it turns out.

Won't the 845 hinder the appearance of the 26 ???

I find that topping with different products can usually affect *some* degree of change. Putting 476S on top of 845 does change the appearance slightly, and #26 is *so* different looking that I'd sure expect it to do the same.

But OTOH the whole topic of LSP-looks and tweaking them is often, *IMO*, overblown. Sometimes it works, other times it's just waste...won't know until you try.
