Top PWC with Sealant?

I was wondering if anyone here has topped PWC with a Pure sealant (no caranuba present in the Sealant) some thing like EX-P. I really like the ease of use the PWC brings but want to top it with EX-P or another sealant. Also since the caranuba would evaporate quicker than the sealant would it make the layer underneath the sealant hazy? Thanks.

I never leave PWC as an LSP. I either top it with a Carnauba wax (natty's P21S etc) or with a sealant like EX-p and UPP. The only results that I have gotten are the best! Can't complain at all...no hazyness or anything. PWC can be topped with pretty much anything you want and it'll look awesome.
 
I never leave PwC as an LSP either. I like to use it prior to sealants and waxes. You can top it with pretty much any sealant or wax. No hazing problems here.

I don't use PwC if i'm planning on topping with sealant. The Sealant is supposed to bond with the paint and can do that much better if there is nothing between sealant and paint. I would use ProPolish and than your choice of EX or EX-P. The idea behind a sealant is durability, the better it bonds with the paint the more durable it is. I also believe that Steve (Poorboys) has stated this in previous threads.

Why would you bother, I thought that was the whole idea of

ProPolish - No Carnauba
EXP Sealent

and then

ProPolish with Carnauba
EX (a sealent with Carnauba)

I cant see why you would bother when the effort has been made to accomodate for those fans of carnauba and then for those of sealents

To combine both sealent and carnauba you need the following combo

Propolish, EXP then Nattys,

With Poorboy's products you don't really have to worry about bonding issues with PwC unlike other products. The PwC will have a different look from PP and then you can top it off with anything to increase the look, whether its to make the paint glossy (mostly sealant) or have depth (carnauba)
 
Here is an '03 Cobra I worked on using #80, PwC and EX-P...

I like using PwC almost as a Glaze after polishing to remove any haze...it darkens the paint as well (PwC Blue even more so). Topping with EX-P doesn't add any more depth or color but brings out lots of wetness and gloss.

i'm not into mustangs as much as i like luxury cars but i would take a mustang like the one pictured above in a heartbeat. btw nice detail.
 
Once again another thread that has answered my many questions. I just ordered the PwC and EX-P and had some second thoughts. Now I just need to decide on Souveran or Nattys Blue for my LSP :book:
 
Well wouldn't topping PwC with EX bring a better detail to the finish then EX-P?

Is applying Natty's over-kill using it over EX & EX-P?

Go with Nattys blue instead of the Souveran. Nattys also leaves a shine to be desired and for the price you wont be disappointed. If you still unsure ask Rabbi what he would prefer.
