SrbijaAZSale said:Joe, ZaneO did his best to help me out here (and he posted for me looking for someone QUALIFIED enough to do the right job). Allow me to vocally express my dissatisfaction with the company/person who did my BMW. Allow me to give you the details.
I need EXTREME help with my 2001 Z06 Corvette. If you are familiar with Vettes and the black used, you will know its extremely hard, and just a general pain in the *** to deal with. While my dear friends from a local Arizona club helped quite a bit, the car is still riddled with NUMEROUS scratches, some bad, some horrible. While the holograms have gone away, scratches are everywhere, including some waterspots.
While consulting with ZaneO on CorvetteForum.com, he reached out here to help me find a detailer that could help me. As luck would have it, the "detailer" who I am STILL gonna keep nameless until I see if anything can be done came out, and as a test, I had him do my WHITE 740IL BMW, which has resulted in catastrophic results, i.e., even worse swirls, holograms, and overall HORRIBLE detailing job (as a plus, he did a great job on the interior though, so I suppose it wasn't just a throw-away of money....).
Which brings me to square one.
My 2001 Z06 needs help, period. If you have customers as referrals, and can show me pictures of your before/after work, as well as some sort of guarantee of my satisfaction, I am willing to do business. I have thrown away way too much money on Arizona's "finest detailers" and they have turned out to be an absolute joke, period, no dancing around that issue. So, I am reaching out one final time to this forum (or any other), before I put the car up for sale, giving up completely up on it, as it is as if though there isn't a single good restorer/reconditioner/detailer in Phoenix. I appreciate your post, but I hope you understand my frustration with other so-called detailers. My contact information is below, and if you choose to, please e-mail me at your earliest convenience. I am interested in seeing if anything can be done.
