Top Colors for 2005

I can agree with that.

However, I've seen a huge numer of dark silver/metallic grey cars on the road lately. I love these colors, so I'm not complaining. :)

Thanks for the information. I would have never thought to look at bankrate for information on the most popular car colors.

Interesting.

Never too fond of silver though for that exact reason, popularity. Standing out a bit is my feeling, but I'm sure you couldn't tell that from my car. ;)

"Silver really shapes cars the best," says Ron Will, manager of product planning and design for Subaru of America, Inc. "With dark colors, it's difficult to see the shape. Whites don't do it. Solids don't do it. You need metallic or pearlescent in a lighter color. That's why I think silver works the best."

It's funny the Subaru guy feels that way.....I think that the Legacy GT wagon, in silver, is one of the hottest looking cars out there. And I'm not even a Subaru fan!
