Top 10 things I've learned since finding Autopia!

#27: I think the most important lesson we have been taught is to take a greater level of pride in our vehicles. Especially at trade-in time. :D

#28 You've got to dust and QD your car before taking it out for a drive, even though it was only two days earlier that you spent 10 hours detailing it and it's been in the garage ever since.

1. And my friends thought I was anal about my car...

2. mmmmm...Microfiber

3. There's good stuff out there besides Zaino

4. You mean Westley's Bleech-White isn't good for your tires? (I was still using it)

5. My fiance wants to file suit against CMA for getting her share of my income :D

I've learned a lot from this site. Plus, the members here are so much more intelligent and friendlier than I've seen on so many other forums. I like it a lot.

Hmmm...any chance CMA has a wedding registry? I think a PC would make a beautiful wedding gift. :wavey

# 29. Don't wash your detailing cloths with the rest of your laundry. :nono

I wonder how many times I will have to rewash that load to get the smell of car wax off my clothes

actually I like the scent of carnauba following me all day long!! hehe...

This is too funny, this is my first post on the board even though I've been checking it out for the last few weeks and this list is just too weird in a good way.

I've never seen so many people with respect and love for their cars anywhere else. The automotive forums that I'm affiliated with have very few if any detailing fanatics like myself. It feels like I've found a home.....(sniff).

I hope to learn much from everyone here. Its nice that no one disrespects what vehicle other people drive drive and start getting into arguements.

:up

#30: you know your car is looking good when people need sunglasses to look at it...and it's a cloudy day!

#32 - You must be a good photographer as well as detailer so you can show off your car on Autopia, where people care!!

#33 - You save a lot on gas once you start detailing because you don't want to drive your car and get it dirty after all that work! :D (The family is getting tired of walking everywhere, tho. ~~ just kidding!)

#34

Always leave for destinations 15-20 mintues early so you'll be able to find that perfect, "safe" parking spot.

#35- It's now OK with the wife to prop open the kitchen door to the garage to suck out the A/C or heat from the house with a big fan......IF you're working on HER car!:xyxthumbs

The extra electric will be off set by not having to pay for car detailing!
