Too Slick a Surface?

I wash mine in a liquid detergent that is dye and scent free and no issues with either the plush or ww towels and always hang to dry .. The dryer has too much softener residual in it.
 
maybe thats my issue. im rinsing them right now and ill hang them in my bath room to dry to see if that does any good. i ran them with a lot of vinager and rinsed at least 4-5 times. so hopefully that will do something.

The blade might not but anything trapped between the blade and paint will marr or worse.
