hello everyone.

I have not posted lately due to much detail business. I finally might have a saturday free and i plan on preping my car for winter. I bought some stuff last night.. I didnt buy clay ( im kicking myself for it ) But i bought some megs deep crystal polish and megs mirror glaze #9. I plan to do as follows

Megs Gold Class Wash
Megs Scratch X if needed in spots
Megs #9
Megs deep crystal polish x2
Megs Gold class liquid

I am new to megs deep crystal polish. Some poeple have said it sucks but it was a deal and i thought i would give it a try. For those who have tried this product do you recomend waiting between coats. If so how long. It is raining here in minnesota and if possible i would like get a coating on my car before having it sit in the rain. If possible i want to get all the way through the polish x2 and get one coat of gold class. Thanks in advance for your suggestions and tips!

Seems fine to me, except that DCP x2 might be overkill. DCP is a non abrasive pure polish (no cleaners) and is primarily used to smooth the paint by the act of rubbing (fill if you prefer). VERY little is needed, and the 2nd 'coat' would simply be wasted product.
 
and if i am not mistaken, i read on the megs site that since dcp is a pure polish, there is no need to wait for it to haze just wipe off, no cure time needed like a wax or sealant

I will only do 1 polish coat then. I have another question. Should i finish with nxt liquid or gold class liquid? i have heard nxt doesnt last as long?

hello again

as i just finished my last post i rememberd that nxt contains cleaners. I am i right when i say that this would mess with my polish coat? i want layering.

gold class also has some cleaners in it if i am not mistaken, if i was you , and those were the products i had, i would top with nxt x 2, i have had better duration with nxt than i have with gold class, also on the megs web site they have recommended topping the DC #2 wth NXT
