Well, here we are at 5:12pm. There are only 16 threads under "New Post"



3hr's ago there were 2 pages and over 30 post



How did this happen? Where did they go? Maybe we could have a "Yesterdays Post" option :idea

I wasn't saying anything except how you can get today's post. I don't know why they don't still have it, I used it all the time. I'm in Cookeville, about 4 hours from you. Half way between Nashville and Knoxville on I40.

I agree with Flash, new posts just doesn't do what I need. I like to have both. I like to hit subscribed, then new, then today's when I log in.

Yes, this "New Post" option is confusing. Earlier there were 4 pages, now there are 6 threads total :think:



I suppose I should log out so I get all the options I'm looking for :bolt
 
You can just go to the address bar, and delete "search id****" and type "do=getdaily" in its place from the new posts page. Sux to have to do that, but its pretty quick. Thanks for future referrals...just had an Autopian from Franklin drive up to let my OptiCoat his Lexus.

How do you figure.. new posts has what.. 10-20 of the most recent posts... not exactly the same. Back in the day when they actually had decent traffic here, that would be like.. 30mns worth of posting.



30mins doesn't equate to today's posts..



It's a step back and why should a bookmark be needed when the site should keep what was a useful feature. Oh wait, that makes too much common sense.
 
Huh? When I do the "New Posts" search after a few days offline, I get *many* pages...seemingly all the posts I'd missed over the course of several days. It seems to get all the posts since the last time I visited Autopia. Not that *that* is very many these days, what with all the malware/etc. issues....

Hi Autopians,

It has been a very though month for us. Our site was attacked by Hackers (I call them loosers & criminals because they have nothing else to do better with their lives...).

If you remember at one point our site was very slow and then some of the links was directing to other sites.... Well that was the beginning of the problems. Then gradually it got worse.

Eventually Google flaged our forum as unsafe.

But now that warning is lifted by Goggle.

We are dedicated to keep Autopia the #1 Car care forum in the world. You can see the ranking of autopa is by far way ahead than any other forum out there.

Some of the competition enjoyed our dilemma...well that is too sad!

As I said before: "a store owner getting happy when he sees the next door competition gets robbed!!!!...." That is not nice...

Well folks we are taking better measures and hope that this never happens again.

Please spread the word around.

Sadly I have seen some posts from very few members that are getting angry to us saying; "I will never come back to Autopia...."I am still trying to understand the rational on that...I don't get it ..Do you?

Well to those who think like that I can only say "GOODBYE!!!".

Because they can not be true Autopians.

Its like saying "this store has been attacked by bad people and I will never shop from there...????" Go figure..

We did not do this intentionally...Even Pentagon & White House was Hacked.....
