The truck was full of sand which took me about 4 hours to clean up.

Started around 9am and finished around 4:30pm

Nice work, even though the interior shot is dark, it still looks a lot better! Exterior looks terrific. :)
 
Good job there :xyxthumbs . The Avalanche has a lot of exterior plastic, what do you use on it? Can you fix any scratches on it? I always wonder this when i see alot of black trim on trucks and some cars.
 
'Lanche trim is always a pain, IMHO. Its a lot of surface area to dress, and it does get scuffed. You can fix the scratches with a heat gun. Usually, I try to avoid dressing it if it is new/looks decent. On a car with that much trim, it is likely to look terrible after a rainstorm, if the dressing runs unevenly. They're going to be a real PITA after about 5 years in the sun, when all that trim needs to be dyed :rolleyes:. Luckily, the only Avalanche I see on a regular basis has the WBC option package (no body cladding). Thank the lord.



P.S. great work, TD, I know full well how tough those interiors can get, and you made it new again.

I'm always amazed when I see the interior of GM's trucks. It's like they froze their design progression in the 80s.

Thank you for noticing! Glad I'm not the only one. They REALLY need to step it up on the interiors of these cars, it just plain sucks. And wow, every time I see an Avalanche all I see is gray plastic. The ones without it aren't bad I have to say.
