I had a call from a client of mine who I had recently set up with some products, including a PC, FS BS LCC, MCC and FS UPP. He was just starting to get into some paint corrections on his girlfriends ION, and decided it was worth a call to see if I could walk him through the process real quick. So I obliged, and met up with him. The Saturn was all washed and clayed upon arrival! (I wish all clients were as motivated!) We went through some basic do's and dont's with the PC, and got started with some Four Star Body Shop Light Cut Compound with an Orange 6.5" pad. He started on one half, and I on the other.
I was not aware that I had my camera still in my truck from the previous days detail, so neglected to get any before pics, and I apologize. But Michael said he had snapped some pics of the swirls before. The swirls were your typical wash/dry swirls, nothing too serious or anything either of us didnt expect to be removed. We both agreed FS BS LCC would be suffice. He has seen the results of my work with the same products on his Acura TL. Although a little harder then this Saturn paint.
Total time. 3 hrs for this car with Michaels help. Brilliant blue paint finished out nearly perfectly with noth the LCC and Orange pad. We sealed up with FS UPP. Several years later, i am still impressed with how slick UPP feels. We were both basking in surprise at how brilliant the blue and its flakes popped, as well as how slick it felt.......

Im using a 3 yr old digital cam thats about 1.2 megs, and Im sure Michaels pics will reveal a little more depth. Ill post up once he forwards them!
