Dang this paint was beautiful! The color is one of my more favored colors on the road. The other is a metalflake Burgundy put out by Toyota.

New car, owner seeking protection. I opted for a white pad with some FS Body shop Light Compound. Minor swirls here and there. Sealed up with UPP. Quite a car I might add! Very nice line and form, wheels are very nice for stock. I cannot emphasize how beautiful the color is on this V-Tech! The flake was popping even when it was a little dirty, but it really has some shimmer now.

V-Tech is a brand of phone. ;) hahaha..sorry...had to say it.

that is indeed a beautiful color. i love the new design on the civics too. great work!

Being the owner of a 98 SI and have owned a Acura GSR, I was going to say, but didn't.

LOL!!!

It's ok......

V-tech? my 4 year kid have few of those game.

Im sure Patrick know whats I-VTEC and VTECH.:rofl

I-VTEC is a ****ing joke. It literally means nothing whatsoever. I'll admit it because it's fact, and I own the following:

They should have stuck with the actual 3-lobe VTEC instead of half-assing it and just wanting to keep people thinking VTEC still exists. I'm afraid to say that next to the S2K, true VTEC has been shown the door. That aside, HONDAS RULE!

Nice paint work man, I love my car, but silver is SO hard to get to glow.

nice job patrick! being a 7thgen civic owner myself, i really want one of those 8thgen si's in the sedan version... :bigups

Wow that IS a sexy color!!!

Even though I like some hondas, I keep remembering the same quote I heard a while back:

VTEC: All the lag, none of the turbo; it's like waiting for bad sex!

Great work Patrick, :goodjob

Your thoughts on the FS Body shop line compared to other brands?

Craig, a sleeper product if I have ever seen one. Im sure Danase will comment as well if he reads this. Its very easy to use, closest thing to resembling Optimum I have ever used. Excellent extended working time, great swirl removal qualities, zero dusting on that Civic. The Medium grade is also excellent.

Heres some pics of a car I did Friday with Medium Compound. This white Camry kicked my arse for 4 hours. Swirls and oxidation were the medium for this 2000 Toyota, oh, and a layer of tar covered the bottom of the sills. That was an hour right there. By the time I was done with that, I was pooped. This thing really needed some rotary work. But, I dolled it up, as best as I could. FSBS MCC/orange pad, FS UPP.

Right rear before/afters: Notice the right corner of the bumper.

When I commented about the possibility of the car having being repainted, she replied she didnt think it ever had been. I showed her the peeling paint on the lower front area of her front bumper, and she replied she's been through about 4 bumpers. Hehe.....Nice client though, student at one of the local area colleges.

I agree 100%. I sometimes get mad that more people are not trying and raving about this line actually. LOL

I really like the style of those new Civics, and for a loyal VW person that's quite a compliment.

However, that spoiler is haggard...

Nice work!!
