First, sorry about some of the pictures. (bad angles and stuff)

The car was in pretty good shape except for tear & wear. Garage kept and washed weekly by the owner. Didn't ask what year it is.

OMG, the black beemer is just glowing! Great job on both.

Optimum polish is VERY different than SSR2.5. If you're looking for simliar cut via Optimum, you need to use an orange or yellow cutting pad. You'll work Optimum about twice as long as you do SSR2.5 on your rotary.

How does #1000 compare to Pink Wax in terms of:

-Chemical Smell
-Ease of application and removal
-How does it look on dark/light/metallic finishes?

#1000 claims durability of up to 1 year which is hard for me to believe, but I haven't tried it either.

Hello Tamás!

What's your opinion on #1000 Hy-Temp? I use Finish Kare more and more, and I LOVE it! The 2180 sealant is wonderful stuff, too. And you have PM.

Thanks both!

1000 is the most durable wax I have used so far. Even after a few months the paint is as slick as a freshly waxed car. Haven't used it on dark paint yet.

Smell is much weaker but still smells like chemicals.

Easy to apply/remove. (I apply waxes with my PC)
