I wish I paused longer taking the after pictures, but the owner had to take her son to piano lesson. It looked really nice once done. I wish it was sunny today! :D

2002 - too many scretches and swirled all over. Rain most of the day but cleared up by the time I was done. I worked in their garage so I may have missed a few spots. :(

nxt wash

mothers clay

ssr 3 with an orange pad 6

ssr 2.5 new LC white pad 6 (fell apart before I was done)

ssr 1 LC white pad 5

FK1 #2180 blue pad 4

PwC by hand (roof rack area)

AA on tires/plastic

interior

vacume

NL on everything

woolite on carpet

both of these before & after shots were taken very close to the car.

I have an excellent tripod but as I stated, the owner was ready to go, so I freaked!!!!! Do you think maybe I should delete the thread?

eh... I wouldnt...

Any idea what those scratches above the door handle are from?

yes! their dog. That is why she called me. she didn't care about anything else except to remove them from that one door. The rest of the car was just as bad.

I was recommended to her by the lady that had a black RX300 I did not too long ago.

Hey tdekany, hasnt our weather sucked lately!?! Anyway, two things, one, just out courtesy to the customer, you might want to blank out the license when posting another person's car on the internet. (some people, the owner, may not like that) Secondly, what is that dark gray shade just below the window in the first and second pic? I cant tell if its reflections of texture or what :( How long the process take you? From what you list it prolly took all day!

I was kidding. But on a serious note, have you ever done an IPA wipedown after using any of the SSR's?

1- Hey tdekany, hasnt our weather sucked lately!?!

not too bad. this week is going to be rainy all week. That sucks.

2 - you might want to blank out the license when posting another person's car on the internet.

Don't know how to do that.

3 - what is that dark gray shade just below the window in the first and second pic?

in the first one it's dust, in the second picture I was way too close - on my monitor it looks like this - what ever that is called.

Hey, still lookin good :)

I see your using this Fk1 more and more...Can't wait to give it a shot :)

thanks Sean - I like both products very much. I would have put pink wax on top expecially since what I charged for the detail, but she had to leave. Now I just have to try the decontemination kit. :D

PS:the direction says to work it in reall well and let it haze or (I do this) apply to the whole car and then wipe it off.

01bluecls - I started at 9:15 and finished at 3:40, but I took some fairly long calls during.

I tried to go light first, but I knew that it needed some heavy duty stuff.

Man, I have to detail my car with the rotary so I can get some excellent results & save time.

I guess you'd say that the rotary works much faster for you than a PC? :D

Maybe the owner should just train her dog not to jump. ;)
