tire shine

Back in the 80's there was a product called Wesley's Tire Shine. Does anyone know if this product is still made? I really liked it because it dried and did not leave a wet, greasy film on the tire and had a high gloss. It also made the tire clean easier at the next washing so that you could almost clean just by spraying with a hose (almost). Are there any other products out there that are similar? I do not like the new products I have tried. They never dry and just seem to cause more dust to stick to the tire making it look bad dirty after a few days.

I know the product you are speaking of. I don't believe they make it any longer (quite a few years ago). They do make a new Tire Foam cleaner/shinner... haven't used it? :dunno

If you are looking for a product that gives you similar results, you might want to try one of the good tire gels. Four Star Ultimate Tire Protectant Gel is a good one that you can get online. Locally, the Meguiar's Endurance Gel.

With these gels, you need to get the tires good and clean, apply a light coat of product, let them sit until almost dry, and wipe off the excess.

Hope this helps.
