I tried many spray type tire shine that gets on the body after driving. Any recommendations on tire shine that wont come off as easy?

Search, this has been covered many times. You can find a ton of useful info already discussing this. Good luck!

as INTEGRITYDETAIL stated, there are lots of info if you use the search feature. FWIW, i prefer water-based dressings...

BTW... :welcome

yup welcome to autopia! :)

If you are local in NC then I'd have a few recomendations from a local shop. But if not then Optimum makes a decent tire shine, and I am partial to Grape Tire dressing from TOTL (topoftheline.com)

FWIW Search and you will find alot more info on this...but again welcome to autopia!

utlima ttgp, grape tire dressing (i wipe it after about 10 mins), zaino have worked well for me with no sling. ttgp is by far the longest lasting that i've tried so far.

Z16 is great on high quality tires (Michelin, Goodyear, ect.), and my favorite for all is Meguiars Endurance High Gloss. V.R.T. is good too.

so these will create minimum "sling" on the body? The NXT insane shine is great, but it all ends up on the body after a drive.

My all time favorite is:

Only thing about the last two is you have to reapply every other day or so.

Good ol' armor all is what I like. A very clean shine and no build up, unlike with those clear oily shines.

agreed! it's in-expensive, can be found OTC just about anywhere, and it looks good. i like using the AA tire foam and tire shine gel (one bottle last a looong time!)... :up

Will the AA products turn the tire brown?

IME, i've used those AA products for years and have had no problems. this is another tire foam that works pretty well too (pic below). for around $3 a can (for either AA/No Touch) or $6 for the tire shine gel, you can't go wrong IMO. they have all of these at your local walmart...

The aerosol mists and goes all over your paint even if you're careful the gel is nice. But the original sprayed into a terry cloth has great cleaning ability and gets great results when rubbed in and allowed to dry. You can then buff off what's left to create a perfect satin finish.

i'm partial to 303 protectant and to poorboy's bold n' bright... but then again, i dont go for the shiny/oily look, i prefer the matte/new tire look...

Adam's Polishes has VRT that is great on tires -- especially if you don't like high gloss. Water based, has 'UV' protection and leaves a nice matte finish. Doesn't last a a long time though but can be reapplied with every car wash.

I've used no touch for a long time (from Costco) and liked the formula in the purple can. The red can doesn't seem to be very good.
