Your wheel wells are cleaner than most people's paint! Do you use a power washer every time you drive to get it like that?

I waited about 10 minutes before applying the second coats. Yes, it would be nice to see others do tests on their tires as well.



Hah, thanks! I don't have a power washer, I just use water, Citrus Wash 'n Gloss soap and a crappy sponge. My frame rails need a bit of work though, I see some dirt spots in some of the pics.

I purchased all my bottles and sprayers from US Plastics.

I got a ton of those from Chemical Guys last year. Do they still sell them? Their website seems to show WHITE bottles instead of the CLEAR. I like the clear ones better. Any ideas anyone?

Just get them from US Plastics.

i'm sure they still do, just call CG's and i'm sure they can let you know. i don't think they can fit everything on their website these days as they have so much new stuff and regular stock they carry. one thing i like about these bottles is the grey chemical resistant sprayheads, i know there are the regular white ones that are sold that aren't chemical resitant and are normal fine mist sprayers, but these work just as well. just adjust the tip of the spray head and you can change the spray pattern from fine mist to jet spray. i pretty use these on all my bottles... :xyxthumbs
 
I like opti-bond diluted. For a shine like no other Meg. Hot Shine or insane shine Spray is a winner. All you need to is spray and walk away.

Me too, to a point. IMHO, your tires look too glossy and wet. that usually the look you get from most solvent based dressing. Problem is, the dressing usually slings off your tire and onto the side of your vehicle.



P1et - great comparison test. Would you say the Adams dressing was the shiniest of them all?

Exactly! I can leave degreasers, APC, TAW, parts cleaner, etc. in them and they don't break down like the regular white ones. When I need more, I'll give CG a call or as another poster mentioned, I'll try US Plastics.

megs hot shine is what i use on my truck (pictured above). I let it dry for over an hour and use a microfiber to wipe off excess before driving anywhere.. dont have any problems with the 'slinging' effect..
 
i had to clean off the headlights at a gas station.. police were not to happy when pulling me over. at the right moment, a huge mud clot fell off my mirror and onto the front of his shirt while he was calling in my VIN number.
 
any update on how well all of them lasted?



I'd love to get my tyres that clean to start off with :lol I think I need some more work with APC and a my brushes each week :o
 
5/3 Update!



I have to say that the Tropi-Care last longer than any of the other three dressings. None of the photos were altered in any way, apart from resizing and adding a border. You can see there is still some "gloss" left here.

I don't use anything on the undercarriage, I just wash it with shampoo/water and an old sponge and it it air dry...
 
Great comparison P1et! So after almost a month, the Tropi-Care and Zaino persevered!



How many washes did you go through?
