Tire and Rim Cleaners?

Just One More Coat
I'm in the market to get some new tire and rim cleaners. I want to buy in the gallon form.

I've been using a heavy degreaser on the tires, but in some cases it does not take all the crud off. Some times the tires have a oxadation look to them, not that clean look.

The rim cleaner I have been using is by P&S and is fairly mild. I just want to expanded products so I'm open to a new product!

Most all the cars that I work on are CC or chrome rims

Thanks:)

I've always used Simple Green or a similar product for tires and wheels of all sorts. Simple Green is available in big bottles from places like Wal Mart and you can dilute it as much or as little as you want. Very strong cleaner with no abrasives to scratch chrome wheels.

I think that the greyish or brownish look is normal for tires that have not been detailed with a tire treatment. I like Poorboys Bold n Bright and there are many others.

Acid wheel cleaner and brightener. Mix 4:1 in laymans terms 1 gallon acid to 4 gallons water in 5 gallon container with spicket.
