Tips & Tricks to speed up the process.

So I've been professionally detailing part time for awhile now, and have the process and techniques down. I have lots of product, 3 polishers, lots of pads, mf's, lights, and everything else I'll ever need. The results have been good, lots of happy customers. I average about 8 hours for an exterior correction and a quick interior vac/wipe.

Let's hear everyone's tips and tricks for speeding up the process and making things go more smoothly.

Here's one of mine: I typically dress plastics right after I wash, and before paint correction, that way they are easy to clean if I do get polish or wax on them. On the other hand, dust sticks more readily to dressed surfaces than dry ones.

As you get more advanced with using a rotary, you can speed up the rpms during cutting. You still gotta keep them low when finishing.

I think I`m going to switch from DA to rotary for my cutting steps, at least on the hood and other easy panels. I usually only use the makita on boats and other tough finishes, but I think it could really speed up the process.
