Tips on posting pics

I'm having a hard time posting pictures. I was only able to post one pic out of the 3 that I have in the post called "My LS". Any tips on posting pics? I'm selecting the "manage attachement" menu at the bottom of the text box, then using the browser to select a pic. After hitting upload it will come back with "done", but the pic isn't listed. It has only worked once for me. The pics are less than the required size of ~460kb.

Thanks

Have you try Photobucket.com to host it for you? Resize your pic to 800x600 its the best size.

why do i have to use photobucket.com? can't I just upload from my pc to this site?
That's the way it's supposed to work, but for some reason, lots of us have problems uploading pictures.
Dwayne feels it is a glitch in the program and hopes to correct it in the future.
It is one of those things that he hasn't been able to find time to take care of.
I wish I had an answer, but I'm no longer able to post pictures so I sure don't know what to suggest. Patience, I guess. Maybe when the site is upgraded in the near future, that will be one of the upgrades. :dunno

ok so does that mean that the photobucket method always work? Can someone post the steps required to do this?

Hi Tony,
I have yet to have a problem with any pics showing up when linked from
www.photobucket.com
you can also try www.imageshack.us they too offer free picture hosting

after you sign up and upload your photos they already have the necessary tag lines under the picture, all you have to do is copy and paste.

Hope this helps

photobucket isn't your only option, although it is one of my favorite. http://tinypic.com is a smaller version of photobucket in case you only want a picture hosted for a month and don't need access to it again. There are a lot of photo albums that will work for posting pictures here. I can't attach pictures either, so you aren't alone in that regard. Just pick a photo host of your choice and put
tags around the url of the photo. It's very easy.
