Tips for using Klasse?

I am new here and just ordered The Klasse duo and some Pinnacle to use on my new 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee in silver. I was told there are some tips and tricks for using the Klasse. I have heard it can be difficult to remove. Any advice?

Yup. That about covers it. Make sure you get some velvet ropes from a theater to put around your car when you are done. People tend to want to touch the car after you get it that shiney. I guess they don't believe that its really there because nothing could possibly look that good and not be a mirage or something. ;)

I just used AIO for the first time this weekend, and I forgot to get the applicatior damp. I had a tought time getting some hazing streaks off when I went to remove, so I hit those areas again, this time, I used QD to mist the pad before applying AIO. Got most of the streaks off.

The car looks amazing after it was done. i couldn't find my camera before the detail, but I work with the lady, and I'll take pics this week. I promised her a wash if it rains this week, so we'll see!

Love that AIO though. . .

Welcome Brett. The Klasse twins are real winners. I use them on my Jeeps and I am really pleased with the results. I also use S100 as a topper but Pinnacle is also a great product that I have used before. Good luck....Andrew

Welcome Brett...:xyxthumbs

Hard to add more here. What Jngr said...people are going to want to touch your car...

jimwh instructions are correct...think thin, don't rush it, don't skip steps and watch your dry/cure times and you'll surprised with the results...adding the Pinnacle as a topper should make that silver look like mercury poured on your Jeep!

and you can borrow my STUN gun to keep people off your ride :D.

Is the AIO w/ S100 just as good as using the AIO and SG? I want to try some AIO but don't really want to pay for both AIO and SG.

A question I've been meaning to ask... Do you guys that include the SG before the carnauba topper allow for the 24 hour cure of SG?

MikesJo,

I just detailed a car for a coworker last week and I used AIO and S100. If I had some SG I might have done that instead, but time and the price that I charged her were too little to go further than that.

I gotta admit that the AIO/ S100 combo on the hood worked very well! Deep shine and reflection from them!

Pics to come soon!

One thing that may be missing from not using SG though, is the very very mild filling effect you get from it. Won't do much for visible swirls, but it works for very light and shallow microscratching, which could improve the overall look a bit kind of like a real glaze does. I don't know for sure though, since I've actually never studied AIO by itself too carefully.
