Tiny scratch on window still there..after toothpaste. NEXT?

I tried the toothpaste routine for the very tiny superfiscial scratch on the windshield and it is still there, although maybe not as pronounced. Should I keep working with the toothpaste or are there any other suggestions? Maybe a different kind of toothpaste, ie... more abrasive? Should I leave well enough alone? It bothers me cause it is a brand new car. Thank you.
 
what do you recommend for a good glass polish. Will it injure the rest of the glass...ie, smudge? Thank you.
 
yep - I've got a deep scratch in a factory-tinted window myself....



its down deep enough even the Z12 glass polish won't bring it out :scared
