I have a black tar like substance from inside my car door all over the inside of my tinted windows. How can i clean it off without messing up the tint?!!

Try using "goof off" on an old microfiber towel.

if your window film is anything like the ones I have seen, goof off will likely melt the plastic film

I would stick with a good window cleaner like eagle 1 20/20

you could possibly clay it off it it is really bad

QFT! Be sure to use a lot of lube on the window if claying or possibly use a plastic razor blade. I use them on windows quite a bit and have never had a problem.

I must have gotten a bum bottle, because Eagle 1 20/20 was by far the worst glass cleaner I had ever used.

PRO super glass gleam FTW! (alcohol based)

you COULD just use a 1:4 alcohol:water and a microfiber

i also wouldn't use ammonia-based products inside the car since it could make for a harmful amount of ammonia in the cabin.
