Tint selection question

Typically if there going to offer you a lifetime warranty its going to be ok.. But with that said.. see how long they have been in business.. how long has the guy been tinting. And ask what line of llumar film if you must know.. look at that site www.tintdude.com and ask at that forum..

well folks, I got my tinting done! I got it done at a place that's been there for pretty much as long as I can remember (and I've been living here for about 19 years now).

Anyways, I thought he sold Llumar, but he actually said he sells SunTek which according to him is "as good or better than Llumar." That tintdude site that was posted earlier (thanks) seems to agree. I got a lifetime warranty as well.

But get this... they finished the job in a half hour! I gave them a $10 just for that :). Now I have no more money for anything else :( Oh well at least now I have 30% tinted windows :D

I am getting tired of the soap smell inside, though.

But the point is, they did a good job and so far it looks pretty good... obviously the bubbles need to dry out so that I can clean and smudges off (oh, an Autopian with streaked windows he can't touch! :aww: ), but so far... it looks nice.

Thats amazing 30 minutes.. Must be a new speed record there.. Was it only one window? hahah lol

PICTURESSS!!!!!!!! glad that tint dude site helped

Ok, well this summer I gave away my camera to my sister so I was forced to take bad quality pictures (I HATE doing this) with my cameraphone. Sorry :(

Anyways, here are some quick snaps I just ran out and took. They are terrible quality, I know! Sorry again. This is 30% all around, no tint strip (on the front windshield). It looks a little lighter because the shades on the both moon roofs are open inside (plus you can see I have one of them partially open. The lighting is weird because I used a bedroom halogen toerchiere since I only have a crappy incadescent bulb in the garage :nervous:

Pics (click for bigger version, resized to 640x480 for quality reasons):

Hatch glass flows much more visually with the stock tinted sunroof now

Side reflection

Whole car shot (almost). It looks like I tinted the front windshield strip, but I didn't. I don't like those - its just a weird shadow in this picture.

I really wish I had a real camera, but at least this way you can't see all the water spots and dirt I just noticed. Stupid rain.:grrr

jsatek, have you gotten it done yet?
