Time for a new Wash mitt, what to choose?

Ok I'm done with the Eurow Sheepskin mitts from Walmart. They were good for a few washes then just started to fall apart.

Are there any good mitts I can pick up locally? Car needs a wash badly and planning on doing it at the end of the week or weekend.

If not, what is good that I can order?

Thanks!

I got some good sponges from the dollar tree nearby pertty much a grout sponge and works great

Are you drying the mitt immediately and completely after use? I have no problem with the sheepskins, IF I dry them as soon as possible after use. I turn the mitt inside out and put them in the dryer on medium heat to completely dry the skin, then right side out to dry the "hair".

After starting this routine, my mitts last 10 times longer and it has had no effect on the softness or any other property.

good suggestion/advise. I too had a problem with the sheepskins falling apart, switched to the Schmitt and then now GROUT SPONGE.

i never knew it, but I've been using a grout sponge my whole life basically... they suck- not enough suds are spread across the panel, just mostly h20... my fav is the zymol sponge, but people use these improperly all the time, which will probably induce swirls. It takes some effort of rinsing, and diping into the bucket a lot, but hey, the suds get on the car, and there is plenty of lubrication

I heard so much about the Grout sponge I bought 2 for 2.50$,

btw, I left your name at the customer service; you will be getting a call :D

If the call is from Home Depot I already have their numbers blocked.;)

I would argue it's worth it to order some new sheepskin from Excel Detail. They are the best I have found. I have tried chenille mitts but I prefer sheepskin. Don't like mf mitts at all.

on top of using a grout sponge, i've also been using the sm arnold sheepskin mitts for many years with no problems at all...
