Guess I'm gonna have to scarf up a 5" backing plates now for the PC and rotary.... Anybody know how these fit on a Flex?

TL <---- anybody wanna buy a bunch of barely used 6.5" LC pads?

I just wanted to correct a mistake. I had a detail take a day longer then I thought necessary and my dates are screwed up. The pads will be in Friday, not tomorrow, I changed this in the orginal post.

Since they will be in Friday, I am going to PM instructions out on how to redeem the offer on Friday. From the time the PM is sent, you have three bussiness days (until Wednesday) to place your order.

These pads are a little too small for my liking on the Flex. I believe the backing plate on the Flex is 5.75 inches, which is bigger then the pad itself.

... In fact I just mounted a 5.5 inch pad on the Flex and the pad appears to be the same size as the backing plate, just a hair smaller. You could use it in a pinch but you are running an EXTREME risk of having the backing plate damage the paint if you tilt the machine just one degree or get close to a curve.

I wouldn't do it.

These puppies are to me maybe the best 5.5" pads around and I myself will be getting my set at the end of this week. Remember folks you can get them only at PAC!

Spoke to Jack today, he mentioned that almost all of the codes have been redeemed. The coupon becomes ineffective Wednesday night. Thanks to everybody for participating! My understanding is that we may need to order a second large skid of these pads very soon, I hope Lake Country has their machines ready.
 
I turned in small order for the pads this morning and it would take the pad discount or the forum discount but not both. What was I doing wrong?

Paul, you can only use one code at a time, so use the one Todd email you for the pads and do another order with the TID discount code and post it in the comments area that you want it to be combine with your other order so you can save some on shipping.

The discount for the new pads, to the folks who replied to Todd's post during the "window of opportunity" was 20% off the introductory price...which was lower than the regular price. You were getting $8.99 pads for $6.40.
So, the 20% off price was a heck of a deal.
As Angelo mentioned, you can only do one coupon code.
In essence, you can't stack coupon codes.
In your case, the 20% off was a really good price.
Hope this clears things up.
