boy oh boy ...

9-10 hrs wasted, better half decided she needed to go out during the rain ... couldn't wait 45 minutes for me to get home and take my truck!

Good lord, why bother caring for the vehicle ...

huh ? I normally have severe before and afters and encourage customers to go out in the rain and get the car all dirty as i've done the prep work so all they need to do wash and qd..

its just a car

I know I know I know

you guys haven't seen central PA recently ...

RAIN RAIN RAIN

I did the car in the garage over the weekend, I didn't get to see the WORK in the sunlight!!!!

Eh, it'll clean up easier now.

Rewash, hit it with a qd or booster wax and enjoy.

Sounds like something my other half would do though (and has done).

Dude lighten up, this isn't worth getting your blood pressure up or causing a rift with your other half. Your time wasn't wasted, it'll clean right up with a quick wash. All the polishing, waxing, etc efforts are still there and they'll make the washing job go a lot quicker. It's a minor annoyance at most. Pick your battles and don't sweat the small stuff, you'll be a lot happier.

Maybe she appreciates your hard work so much she wanted to go show it off.

:wavey

I understand exactly how he feels. When I do the car on Friday night in the garage, I usually don't use it over the weekend (we use the wife's car) and if it's raining or there is rain in the forcast for Monday, I'm really tempted to call in sick to work or take a personal day so I don't have to ruin my lovely work. :) At least I like to have a little time to enjoy my efforts.

I'm in Northeastern PA and the rain has been just sick the past few weeks.

Yeah, priorities, priorities. I understand that but OCD runs rampant in my car realm. :chill:

Man. Someones got a scary temper.

please don't make me out to be the BAD GUY! yes, it sounded horrible ... but I just bought almost $200 worth of stuff to use and when the only light you see on the car is just a stupid bulb in the garage ...

I was able to wash the hood, front qtrs tonight --- definitely took off most of the P21S! Run off was good til I hit the car with the wash mit ...

Another light layer of P21S and I feel better.

Not much light at 8PM ... but enough to give me a smile!

I know you guys understand (deep down you all have that YEAH, KICK SOME A$$ feeling)

No way a simple wash should have taken that off. What are you using to wash? Perhaps you need a milder wash soap. Also, instead of putting another layer of wax you could just find a quick spray wax to use as a booster, like WAUD (Wax As You Dry, I think it's Eagle One?) or Duragloss Aquawax. I've had experience with Aquawax, but both are supposed to work great. Also, sometimes I just use 425 or another QD after I'm done washing.
