Three years in the making.......

New Normal
Something that has been three years in the making. Finally, room in the garage for our vehicle. Although my wife still claims that it is easier to just park outside. I did manage to convince her to at least try to park her new Chrysler 300 Touring Edition inside.

I did a lot of work on the vehicle yesterday. Washed and clayed then washed again. Then I went over it with Klasse AIO. I have to admit that my energy was diminishing after all that work. So I got it in my head to use the energy that I had left to re-arrange all of my stuff either in the attic or the back of my pickup. Then went and moved a bunch of her things to either side to make room for the new vehicle.

after moving every thing, I swept and vacuumed the area and pulled the vehicle inside for the first time. Since I have more to do as far as a detail is concerned, it was nice to have the 300 inside out of the elements. Will complete the detail as my energy level determines but feel better knowing that the morning dew of Texas will not be assaulting all of my hard work.

here are just a few pictures:

Nice start to making the garage livable. Why is it that no matter where a garage is located there is always a lot of stuff that just accumulates in the Garage?

I clean off my workbench and poof something from the house just finds it way on to the top of the workbench.

Sweet Mercy:soscared: :soscared: You better get busy, that car deserves soooo much better !!!! You need to completely eliminate all that stuff from the right side at least:nixweiss :nixweiss .....

ya, you are so right. i saw the garage from whence you speak.

since i cannot throw away any of my wife's things it was difficult

to create a space for the new vehicle. once i got it done, i drove the vehicle into the garage. set there all nite.

today my wife looks into the garage and says that it is so tight. she said that she was not comfortable with backing it out. also, evenn if she did get it out without hitting anything, she would never be able to get it back into the spot that i created for her new car.

so she took it out today. was gone about four hours. walked into the house. she was so excited and happy to have the new car. i walked out to the driveway and there the car was......in the driveway. i think that all the work i put into to getting her a spot in our garage is going to be a waste. i do nto think that she plans on using the garage while i am away. i hope i am wrong. btw, i did move the car into the garage myself. as long as i am home i will take it into the garage every nite.

Yeah, well I also have customers with high end cars that sit outside 24/7 because their garages are filled with crap.

Must be nice to finally be able to use the garage as a garage! :woot:

it sure is! hope that my wife realises just how nice it is also. only time will tell.

Put some cabinets or open shelving on that wall. Hopefully it will give you more room. 95% of my garage crap is x-mas, halloween, or spring/easter decorations. Fortunately, flags for 4th of July don't take up alot of room!
