My father's blood work also came out well, though he still needs a marrow biopsy to confirm. Chris, I wish you the same kind of news.
 
Well, I am back from Houston.
Test went OK, Results are still sketchy....

All he had done was an MIBG scan to verify what the spot in question was.
The MIBG scan showed nothing. But they are dumb founded on what the spot is. They are also concerned about his lymph nodes now, which are enlarged.:(
They were also talking about his Bone Marrow.......
More tests are scheduled for Early March. If it is anything, it is still too early to really tell with the spot.
So now it is a waiting game. Don't we all just love those.......:lol:

So, all in all, the Docs said it IS NOT Neuroblastoma, the cancer that he previously had. But, it is something..............
We aren't out of the woods yet.......:(

Thanks everyone, for the thoughts and prayers. It means alot, and will in the near future when he has to go back. I am just hoping it is nothing....
 
Thanks for the update and I'm glad you didn't recieve any bad news. Hopefully it turns out to be nothing serious. I'll still make sure to keep your family in my prayers.
 
It seem like a life time of waiting to hear some news..I'm positive everyone will continue to keep you in there thoughts and prayers..Beleive in the power of prayer..Glad your all home safe..
 
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My nephew is a Leukemia survivor himself and has no been in remission for about 5 years and has now been cleared for yearly checkups. He was diagnosed 5 years ago on Christmas Eve.

I know I'm not a regular poster here (although I do "lurk" quite a bit), but I'm sorry to hear about your son and I'll be sure to include him in my prayers.
 
I'm not much for prayer but in this instance it is called for. I have asked the Allmighty for your son to be healed and to also heal the mental anguish of all involved. I'll continue to do so.....

Please keep us all up to date.
 
Chris..... My thoughts and prayers are definately with you and your family.
Always sad to see anyone sick but children being sick is really heartbreaking.
Hope he gets a break and your family also.

Hope everything end up being fine, some show came on the other day with little kids that had cancer, I had to turn it off, couldn't watch that stuff. No kid should have to go through that :(

Going back to Houston tomorrow afternoon for a ton of testing on Thursday.

Not sure what the results are going to be, but wish us luck and keep us in your thoughts!!! Not looking forward to it. Has me nervous as all heck!
