Thanks dudes. Here is a pic of my 335i with everything I've done to it currently.

I don't have many recent pics, maybe I will snap some this week.

noooorb; I apply via PC, black pad then remove with a regular old microfiber.

Thomas; good ol' stoners more shine less time. I love that stuff. :) thanks.

Beautiful car - love the wheels.

As much as I dig the Porches and whatnot (and your work is outstanding as always), I'm really groovin' on the shot of your 335. the new 3 series coupes are very sexy, and I have dreams about the new M3.

Cheers,

Kevin, like always, amazing work!!!!!!!! :bow :bow :bow :bow

That was quite the assortment of vehicles Matrix --> CGT! :woot2:

Glad to see you finally got a chance to clean your car up!

I've never used the edge wave pads, they're different than the ones I use. It sounds like maybe you need something to lubricate the EC; try a little OP or #80, or as an experiment try a little more EC. It could just be that the pads is dry.

As the pad gets saturated with EC it will definitely star to jump, mine is usually saturated after 2-3 panels, which is why I go through so many pads. I switch pads very often. I find the results, ease of use and removal much better with HC/EC on clean pads.

Lee - thanks. :)

It's the same process as the how to I wrote awhile ago, just with some updated products. I apply touchup, wait 2-4 hours then either apply again if needed or sand with a 3k unigrit block, then compound with HC/EC as needed (usually only takes one pass).

Very nice work man. As I'm looking down your shots (and your other C&B) I was thinking that I should have you correct the 'fun' swirls etc on my Impreza care of the dealer wash before pickup (I was assured they had a good detailer). Then when I hit the picture of your car... 'damn, I can't afford him'

Extremely nice work though, have you done much work on Subaru's notoriously soft paint?

I want to find a detailer to correct the marring and do the prep work for the start of me using zaino. I've never used a pc however and given the reputation for soft paint I'm not eager to learn on the new car. Could you email me pricing on doing prep work on an 07 Obsidian Black Pearl Impreza Wagon? <shoot, can't post emails, can you give me some contact info?>

can i ask you what you use on the windows? polished at all? and whats the tire dressing product.....your details are amazing....esp 997tt dads got c4s same paint and i cant get it to look like that yet :-x
