Do you turn it down and miss out on business or bite the bullet and make a good job of it ?

Im not sure what was worse - the chrome wheels, the lift or the damn push bar!!!

:angry :angry

Actually it was kept in really good condition so it was pretty simple to do apart from its sheer size.

That and I got another two vehicles to do from the owners referral.

Ugh, that's a BIG SUV! Nice work though! :xyxthumbs It's a nice shade of green.

What process did you use? I like the chrome shine! What did you use on that too?

Thanks.

Paint was pretty good so it just got AIO and UPP.

Chrome had some spots and water marks, Megs metal polish followed by #26 made it all nice n shiny.

Its an Excursion 'Limited' whatever that means, I thought it was an Eddie Bauer to start with. Full leather, all the gadgets etc.

Wayyyyyyy outta my price range tho lol.

I would just charge a lot more. If he doesn't take it fine. If he takes it for more $$$$$ even better.

Inside and out and I charged em 80 bucks .. plus they gave a $20 tip.

They also got me two vehicles on referral.

As I said it wasnt bad all, the longest time was spent on all the chrome.

:angry

Inside was a dream.

All told it took around 3 1/2 hours, so I'm happy.

P.S. I think the scoops were OE as its a Limited Edition. If not they were matched perfectly to the beige metallic on the bottom of the doors.

And yes they were functional.

That shouldn't take too long. Just hook a hose up to that new spray wax stuff and hose it off to a brilliant turtle wax shine. :D lol Isn't that the way it works?

That is not a happy looking job. You gave them a deal if you did it for 80. I would have given them a deal and charged $120. It got you some referals though and that is always worth it. :up Good job!

$80??!! $120??!! :shocked

The AVERAGE cost of a full detail for a 4 door sedan in my area in NJ is $150.00 and $195.00 for large SUV's. I have researched their pricing. My friend is paying a local car wash $200 to polish and wax and do the interior of his Tahoe. I told him I want to take him there to pick it up so I can chat with the detailer(s).

Wow, just an "exterior only" job would have taken me a good 5-6 hours. I would have charged him $200 for the pleasure. But $100 for under 4 hours of work is decent money. Keep it going with the other customers.
