303 Wiper Conditioner on blades, even though the car never sees rain. At least the blades are black again :)

The wheels and tires were already looking good, so I left them alone.

The owner said he knows somebody else that was interested in my work. Apparently this guy owns the sign shop near my house, and I've seen a 350Z Roadster parked there a lot. Maybe he wants that car done?! :D

once again i agree with zane,

spoked wheels are no good, are those clear mudflaps, you can see the tire tread "through" the one on the right rear,

are my eyes playing tricks :(

I see you didn't go with the #80 after all...

The sun was starting to peek through the trees after I finished with QEW. So I decided to go the sun-safe route with the SSRs.

As for my above comment about the other guy that I was told to contact...

I went to his business and he showed me one of his two MG convertibles. The one he showed me was completely restored recently, and he wants a complete detail for both of them. He said he would want them done in the fall, inside his heated garage where they are stored for the winter. The one I saw was in great condition (as far as I could tell, being inside the building with the car) and was white. I assume it's single stage white.

The 350Z roadster is his wife's car. Oh well. Maybe she'll want hers done after the MGs. :)

Oh and he asked for a ballpark estimate for the MGs...I said $150 each. I hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the as* when I see the 2nd one.

As I left I noticed that the 350Z has some good swirls going already... :(

Anyone know if MGs were ever made with clearcoated paint?

Dunno for sure, but IIRC, generally Brit cars were still single stage into the mid-80's (like my '85 Jag). If they have original paint it's probably ss. Heh heh, ss white....very hard stuff.

Yeah I was just thinking about the hardness. :(

I really need to become proficient with the rotary before tackling that SS white. I wonder what color the other one is.

You gotta love the hidden headlights on the RS. I love love love 67-69 Camaros. My absolute dream car. I had access to my dad's '69 Camaro SS 350 in high school, and that car was a looker. Nice work! Those clear mudflaps are interesting. I have never seen those before.
