Having completed my end of the Valentines present to my wife I am about to partake in a most delightful dinner prepared by my wife. I may have to crawl away from the table she made so many ribs.
 
will be doing a wash and wax on my car today. it's going to be in the 50's and my car is covered in salt.
 
I have the left side of my tuck to cover with a new product. Will use the Relfection line from Mother's. Did the half the hood the other day. The spray wax I used yesterday looks promising upon first application.
 
Just detailed the engine on the Trailblazer...looking good.
I picked up some Black Magic 2-in-1 cleaner/shine, jjust to try something new. Cleaned up the engine decent, but don't think I would buy it again. At 5-6 bucks per can, that is a little too much to buy for customers cars. I'd figure I'd give it a shot. When I wiped down the plastic with a MF to dry, it left a few streaks here and there. I finished up with some Quick detail......too shiney...let it set for a few minutes, and buffed off...... :bigups
 
Will be off to california in a few minutes. Hope we have a good time there!! Winter storms around here for the weekend. Drizzling rain and frozen roads. Truck will be outside the whole weekend. Hope it is warmed up by the time we get back.

Will not have my DC fix for over 60 hours. Oh, the humanity of it all!!!!

Our rain came in the form of snowflakes. Something to do with the temperature, I think.
Which right now is 5 degrees fahrenheit.

I'm tired.Been up since 6 this morning. Winter is back. Went from mid 50's yesterday to low 30's today. I can't go on this way.

We were in the high 50's Tues, The last few days we had thunderstorms, freezing rain, and snow flurrie's with temps ranging from the high teens to low 20's and were gonna drop to -2 buy the weekend.From Chicago standards this is considered a mild winter..Ok, i'm going to the garage to try out the new OPT-wash and shine..Not
 
Man, this sucks... It is in the low 20s and my car looks like crap after the snow storms earlier this week. It is bright and sunny and has been for two days. Grrrrr.... If it was warm enough to wash my car it would really look great among the rest of the dirty cars out there, but the water would probably freeze before I could dry the car.


...I hate winter.
 
At least for today this will be the last time my teenage Daughter slams the bedroom door,After the last one just a few mnts ago i went upstairs a removed the door from its hinges....
