Well...what I didn't say was I have to have a million dollar RV with a full size shower and all the comforts of home. Plus, we have to be parked next to a lake, with no bugs or bears! When you can deliver that, honey, I will be a camping buddy. Enough with this "wilderness camping" stuff (and in Florida, at that)!!!:crazy:
 
I think I made a big mistake today. I had a long day of detailing then got talked into going out to the beach and playing some volleyball. :passout:

Used to play all the time, but now that I am out of shape, playing just about kills me! Worst part is waking up tomorrow and trying to work with my body being not so willing.:redface:

It's a bit quite around here tonight. Nobody feels like typing? It took about all the energy I have left to type this.:)

Got up just before 6 this morning for a 2hr drive back to the city,sooo tired right now and it's just almost 11 ..I think I'm ready for bed

I swear we got a foot of rain last night. The power was out from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Good thing the Sabres game was tonight, or heads were going to roll. :)

The wifey and I watched DVD's on the laptop to pass the time. At least all those candles she decorates with came in handy.
 
I am whooped!

Didn't touch a car today though. Spent the whole day doing a room make-over (While you were out style) for my daughter who is turning 12 tomorrow.

Started at 8am when she left for school and just finished hanging the last picture as she walked in at 8:30pm.:passout:

Her reaction was definitely worth it. We have been struggling to get along lately and this really made her feel special. Scored a lot of points in the daddy department.:redface:

Anybody else do a surprise room makeover for someone?

How about a surprise detail? I've done a few of those for family and friends, they go over big too.
 
Well it sounds like you had a really busy day. I'm sure your daughter appreciates your hard work and selfless act. I've never done a room makeover but I've done a few of the suprise details. It's really nice to see the smile on thier faces when it's done.
 
Funny you mention this. I got home last night only to find that my wife and two daughters (3 and 7) completely redecorated and rearranged the girls room. It looked like they too put in a full day..I was surprised and impressed.
 
I am a pancake man. But not those thick Aunt Jemima pancakes. I like the thin ones that my Norweigian mother made for me when I was a kid on the farm.
 
I did have some great multi-grain pancakes once at an IHOP in Raleigh. I haven't found them since.
