3 hours? wow you guys scare me. i can't even finish in twice that time!!!

That 3 hours did not include a wax-job. Just wash, clean interior, dress tires and wheel-wells.

Wax? Polish? Add Another 3 hours.

very nice work got to like the GT's.I am looking for a set of thoses rims myself, need to get rid off these dumb hub caps. What do you use to clean you wheel well? And again very nice job nice to see that there is someone else that has a Grand Am:bigups

What did you you use to clean the wheels?

For the wheels, I soaked them with water to loosen the dirt, then just scrubbed away with a Lamb's wool mit, Zaino car wash and warm water!

There are a couple coats of Z-2 on the wheels, which makes them clean fairly easily.

For the wheel wells, I let them soak with water first, then used a pressure washer , finally a wheel-well brush and warm soapy water. I finished the job with Armor-All Tire Foam....cheap and good for this purpose.

I can tell that vacuuming wouldn't be enough for all the dirt on the floor mats. What did you do to take the stubborn dirt out? My closest guess is brush with soapy water, rinse, then shop vac.

The floor mats are rubber, so I just pressure washed them and treated them with tire dressing.

!
Did you use an extractor on the carpet?

I dry-brushed the carpet with a stiff carpet brush, then vac'd.

I have an extractor, but I didn't really need it. But I did do some pretty vigorous brushing
