thinking about trying an ONR

High guys. I got a question? I'm thinking about trying this optimum no rinse wash and shine. Is it like dry washing chemicals for aircraft? How good does it work on heavily soiled vehicles? Is it worth buying? Any input would be very welcome. I dont wanna spend the cash and have it be a waste of time. Yanno?

I consider ONR a must have for rinseless detailers. Some think the answer is waterless detailing.

ONR seems more cost effective. I have not used it on extremely dirty cars (many do a pre-rinse) but it works for me during the winter months and difficult to wash times in the summer (mid-day, when I have time to wash but the weather is not cooperating). It adds gloss that lasts for several weeks like a quick detailer.

It makes a great inexpensive interior cleaner (wipedowns) and bug softener. I find it so so on grease on wheels, etc.

ONR or DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss are both worth trying.

I don't have any idea what dry washing chemicals for aircraft might be. It is not a waterless wash. For a waterless wash, you should try Poorboy's Spray & Wipe.

I have never used it on a heavily soiled vehicle so I can't say for sure. It also depends on your idea of a heavily soiled vehicle. I see pictures of so called heavily soiled vehicles and they aren't even close to how dirty mine get during an Iowa winter.

Yes.

I use ONR regularly. I wouldn't consider being without it. I have used it on badly soiled vehicles and it works wonderfully. Just remember to use a grout sponge and two microfibers. Don't use any pressure just glide the sponge across the surface.

I use ONR 98% of the time. Last weekend I used it on a car that was pretty bad. I presoacked with ONR waited a min. Then I presoaked a panel at a time before I washed came out great no marring of any kind.

Thanks guys! I appreciated the feed back! :bigups Imma order me a bottle next week and try it out! :D

You will not be disappointed. It is good stuff. You will be a little apprehensive at first, so it will take you a while to do a car. After a few times, once your comfort level increases, you will breeze right through it and wonder why you never tried it before!
