I know there will always be Wax in a detailers arsenal, but will all the semi and permanent coatings and sealants out on the Market is would seem like the price of Waxes would be affected, but I haven't seen that yet....SwissVax still at $2,000.00 and $1,500.00.....that's just insane prices .....You would think the prices would drop......just a little

I'm always amazed how spending money like that is zero problem for some people. :jawdrop:
And honestly Steve I have seen Crystal rock in person on a car.....looks great , but I would put Blackfire, Dodo Juice or Fuzion up against it and you probably wouldn't be able to tell the differnce

I submit We should all chip in a couple bucks so Todd can buy some, and do a review up against the peasants wax I.e black ice, bfms, fuzion etc... Then he can send a bit to us so that we can give it a shot.:D

Somewhere here I did a comparison of Swisswax smagard and natty's blue.....

so why do I always chase "the holy grail of more shine" (glen's words, I stole em)

Swissvax Best of Show was OK. It wasn't as good as Midnight Sun - also the SV container lid is crap. I can see a few hundy, but anyone who spends like $2k on a wax may need to have their head examined. Not because they are spending it on wax...but because there are so many top notch waxes for a few hundred dollars.

At least the Zymöl top dollar waxes come with refills for life. If I ever got enough coin to buy one of those I would send out sample galore :rockon

I thought I was crazy for buying a 200$ can of Synergy. I will say it works great. Can't imagine 2k for wax. All set.

Synergy and black ice, are probably the only "latest and greatest" purchases that I didn't regret.

My son now has custody of most of my "latest and greatest" purchases and I know he may play with some of em, but he like me goes back to the known and trusted waxes.

I wish Synergy had a sample pot. I hope one day it does, I'd bite. I just don't need all these huge tubs all the time just to try things. Because I like being on the latest and greatest train like you. Haha.
