Things have changed here.....

When the weather's bad and I'm twiddling my thumbs, I always come back to this thread. So much info and motivation.

Justin,

Good stuff... all of it... I just read through the whole thing for the first time.

Amazing transition and well deserved!

Thanks for taking the time document your journey.

Actually, even without a team, at 15 bucks if he finishes in 20 minutes, that is 45 per hour minus supplies and overhead.

And there's nothing wrong with this. Or if you do average the same pay doing one car over a 8 hour day.

It's all about marketing in YOUR area and doing what YOU want to with YOUR business.

Very much so. Some people on here complain about competition.

Find a service that your competitors aren't doing, or become an expert in one field. It's up to all of us to grow our own business. Mine has morphed into Rv work. There are many reasons for my change. Number one is how social Rv people are. They grow my biz for me. If you add in large flat surfaces, that this is their home, and that the majority of these people have disposable income, is a no Brainer for me.

I am looking forward to hearing how you adapt to future changes.

Very informative thread, thanks

First I hope you feel better and second good for you,to figure out what your customers wanted at this time. Hopefully you, will get some full corrections ever so often from them to mix into the other services.

Good luck.
