These wheels literally created whiplash

Todd@RUPES

Just a regular guy
I spent 35 hours of this weekend (70 total in labor hours) working on a gorgeous Ferrari 330 with classic aluminum Borrani wheels that were in poor poor shape.

The final results, after being final polished with BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond Aluminum Show Polish and topped with BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Metal Sealant (tires with BLACKFIRE Total Eclipse Tire Shine) were amazing given the limited time we had to work on them. (I have heard stories of each wheel taking 5-8 hours to get perfect.

While I was closing my garage for the night a distinguished chap approached, holding his neck. He, ignoring the sultry Pininfarina designed Ferrari and staring at the gorgeous Borrani's, said, "Those wheels look amazing. I caught the shine out of the corner of my eye and almost broke my neck looking..." BLACKFIRE, creating whiplash ;)

Now I understand why the wheels were so time consuming...but they sure did come out beautiful Todd!! :bigups

How's the fingers today?

Nice work Todd.

I do a lot of spoke wheels on bikes, can't say they are my favorites. That said it's taken me some time to develop a process that, gets them clean and shiny without taking hours / days / months, a life time.

Product aside what was your process? I'll share mine when I see what you're doing.
